Every Tunnel Has an End... What's yours?

A year ago today my husband Ryo and I were one week into our international move to France and we were visiting our first possible new home.
An abode search that continued for another 3.5 months.
And then file rejection after rejection, countless document requests from the logical to the unimaginable,
more rejection, waiting, apartment recon to save time before official viewing,
getting by living in our 19 square meter hotel room.
It was…an experience we'll say, one that surfaced a large dose of stress, it felt heavy, and there was a healthy helping of uncertainty of the...when, if, how, why, uggggg.
And still, we made the most of it!
The reason I mention this is because I believe we can all tend to, in heavy, uncertain situations, feel we are never gonna get out of that place.
It can feel so real to believe there isn’t a light at the end of the tunnel.
Or it seems like you are so far from there, that your mental space can’t begin to imagine the end.
Either way, I’m sure you’ve experienced a time when you felt so deep in the thick of a weighty life chapter
that you too couldn’t conceive of an endpoint, let alone a successful one.
To that, I offer, How many times have you felt that and did you make it out alright?

There is magic in mining the memories.
I look back on this one rather brief chapter, the months of searching for a home,
and I now clearly see it as a success,
All Of IT, even and especially the struggle, the stress, the uncertainty, the cost….etc.
Because these are all now the sharp tools in my toolbelt of resilience, confidence, and certainty.
The certainty and confidence that I have, I am and I will get through anything that life throws my way.
And I know you have tunnels like this you can still mine in this way.
I would love to hear one that comes up for you.
And if you wanna discuss a chapter and find those takeaways together.
These are simply one of my favorite things to do. I am here for you.
Let me know either way what is your takeaway?.
With Love,
LeeLee
