Every Storm Runs Out of Rain

Hi everyone!

March and April have been busy both personally and professionally, with college visits, our last year of varsity soccer games (how do we have a senior already?!) and a bevy of big work events for me, including presenting to our Board and at conferences in Nashville and Vegas.

During the “in-betweens” as I like to call them, work continues on my book. The finish line is clearly in sight and we’re entering the final publication stages of Every Storm Runs out of Rain. And, we have a cover!?

My Book Cover!

As I shared back in January, my title comes from the quote attributed to Maya Angelou: “Every storm runs out of rain.” I remember coming across it at some point, early in the pandemic. I literally wrote it down on a piece of paper and it sat on my end table, for months and ultimately years, my beacon reassuring me that yes, this too shall pass. Here’s the photo from my phone that inspired the cover. ?

My House, Circa May 2020

I wanted to recreate the feeling. But instead of a messy end table and glass of wine on the cover, we opted for a wood-grained desk and a cup of coffee. And, a subtly-placed mask reminding us of that passage in time.

Inside baseball moment: That’s my actual handwriting on the cover. Every font we tried just didn’t do it for me, so I picked up a Sharpie and did it myself.?

We’re in the final stretch, targeting release in June 2024!

These days I’m focused on sourcing notable accolades (does anyone have any contact with Dolly Parton, T-Pain or Damar Hamlin???) and focusing on building a robust email following so we can launch pre-sales with a bang.

So, I have an ask for you: If you are willing, I’d be honored if you’d post about my upcoming book on your social networks (or reshare one of mine).

Please encourage folks to go to?https://ripples.media/amy-comeau/?and sign up for updates at the bottom of the page.

You – my friends, family, colleagues and encouragers – are the wind beneath my wings helping me bring this dream to life.

Thank you for your support. It means all the world to me.

Thanks for your active recording of this extraordinary time in our lives, so we can all relive them and reflect on what we endured and what we learned. The world has been forever changed, and health systems have been at the epicenter;thanks for this gift of recall and reflection!

Word of the day: cacophony. Love it.

Ebb and flow should be the name of a ROCK band!! LOL ! Yes, everyday has it' trials and tribulations! Right now I'd just settle for chicken Alfredo and a salad!! Congratulations on your book, I am glad to hear things are progressing!
