EVERY SINGLE HUMAN LIFE MATTERS

I posted this in a private group that I’m privileged to be in, and was encouraged to share it widely.  So…

I was 9 years old when Martin Luther King Jr and Bobby Kennedy were murdered within months of each other.  I have known my whole life that our free nation is actually several different nations since the centuries-long genocide of the Native population, the subjugation of the Latin peoples, and the enslavement and diminishing of the African peoples. 

What has happened in Minneapolis on May 25th is tragic, but it’s been going on for centuries.  We can choose to take our great sorrow over this recent tragedy and finally, completely, evolve into one HUMAN race. 

This is the underlying motivation of this message:

EVERYBODY MATTERS.

WE have an opportunity to change the world.  Thank you for all the commitment I have seen recently to create change.  It is inspiring. 

When the world’s people can view themselves and their friends and neighbors as one HUMAN race, with the same 99.9% DNA in common, we will know peace.

Love is the answer.  Always.  Promote love, and reject the concept of hate and -ism thinking.

NOW!  I need to find a way to continue to grow despite current events.  And to this end I would love to be a friend and a source of inspired forward motion to anyone here. 

You should not have to “be more white” to succeed or be accepted in this world.  EVERYONE is divine, and EVERYONE is beautiful.  Even those that don’t feel that way so much.

We the people of compassion can be leaders, and do so with compassion for the world at large. 

Finally, let me say in a slightly different way that this recent tragedy can be the catalyst for incredible positive change that the world has been waiting for. 

This is my hope.
