What Every Road is Paved With

The road to success is paved with failures, just like the road to failure.
Wait, what!?
It’s true. Both the road to success and the road to failure have moments where things will go badly. Moments where deadlines won’t be met, where procrastination occurs, and where people will criticize you.
It’s obvious that the road to success will be paved with success, but so will the road to failure. For instance, both roads will have moments where things will go perfectly. Moments where people will support you and where you’ll do things you didn’t think you could.
With success sharing a lot of things in common with failure, it’s difficult, frustrating, and sometimes confusing to know what road we’re on.
Except, that’s the beauty of it.
The next time something goes bad, don’t give up. Don’t immediately think that you’re on the road to failure. Whatever it is that didn’t work out, it might just be a detour – something better is on the way.
When that something better does come, don’t settle. Keep working toward your dreams.

4 年Love this!! A road is a road!!! I’ve always believed a failure isn’t a failure if you’ve done your best. There is always a win at the end, it might just take awhile to get there.
