For every shooting star across the
sky tonight the wish I wished for
you shines a hundred times
brighter than the sun is bright

For every coin I wished down a
wishing well the money I spent
on wishes I could have built my
own and wished for you a
thousand more wishes just
as well

For every thought of you that I
think tonight I could have thought
you into existence so you were
next to me while I slept and dream
of you tonight

For every word I write about you
I could have a wrote a masterpiece
that filled every library ever built
in history now that would be a sight

For every time I said your name
my heart beat stronger and my
breath breathed harder my love
loved deeper my mind thought
clearer my life because of you
will never be the same
