Every positive thought is a silent prayer

We we close our eyes and send out a positive thought into the universe, it forms a silent prayer even without saying words or chants because it connects us directly with God. Because our silent prayers are meant for you and God, loud prayers are meant for anyone like angels or humans to hear. As for giving us more power, is up to God, if He wants to answer it or not, but it's all the same for us because our prayer has reached God. As long as you give God time thru patience, cause He will do it on His time, not ours.
And also when you ask for something from God, full hearted with your believe, believe it so, but also remember that we do not know what we should be praying for, so the holy spirit will intercede for us thru moans and groans which we cannot understand. He is kind of like our saviour, He is our interpreter, translator. Also keep in mind that sometimes He wants us to learn something in the process of asking…Keep the faith, don't ever get discouraged.
We all know that God is the one who is all powerful. We cannot “manipulate Him. We pray for ourselves, to have peace of mind and heart. We pray to to affirm our faith, to feel there is hope, so that we can go on with our acts of loving service to others. Our Father - the default format of prayer and the first half of this prayer reminds us that God is God. He reigns. He is in control. So we should not worry. Please give us today our daily bread. Not give us a hot girlfriend, or a fancy car, or a big house. God will provide for our survival, what we need, not our unnecessary wants. Forgive us as we forgive those who sin against us. Forgive ourselves, so that we can forgive others. Another good prayer is just be grateful. No words of requests. Just be thankful. God is in control. Sometimes, or often, its hard to believe that.
We may think that our life is in the hands of those powerful mortals. We may be passing through a steep road ahead. We pray, either silent or aloud, to remind ourselves that. Private prayers, public prayers, group prayers, anonymous and disclosed prayers, they all have the same impact. It also does not matter whether you are praying to god(s) or a jug of milk. All the same results. Those results are the same as random outcomes.
If a person attributes every ‘positive’ outcome from his thought to mean a prayer answered, and discounts every unanswered prayer as ‘the will of their god(s)’ then all prayers will appear to be answered. However, statistically, prayer doesn’t matter, doesn’t work. No test of prayer effectiveness and quite a few have been done as well offers a shred of evidence that praying matters.
