To every organisation that fills my email inbox. Please STOP !

I want to be treated like an individual, I don’t care if you are online, bricks and mortar or clicks and bricks.  I want you to use my name, I want each contact you have with me to be with me as an individual, I want you to be respect my time, my space, my phone, my agenda  and each and every contact I have with you needs to be of value to me.  I want you to put our relationship in context, I want you to appreciate, understand and reward me.   I am not stupid, I know this type of technology is available to treat me this way - if you don’t then I will find someone who will.

I know email use to be great, I use to read it, but on my phone, well it’s a bit small and I just read emails that are from family and friends and of course work.  I really don’t open your marketing email.  At what point do you think sending me 4 emails a week that I don’t open is respectful to me, are you realising that I am starting to think less of you ?

I am not an idiot, I know you want my business - but I want your respect - can you please look at things from my side.
