With every new year, comes a new chapter in our lives!

For me 2019 was a bit of a challenge in a few ways. Only a few days into 2019 and we welcomed our youngest member of the family, Carson, a wee bundle of joy. Already having a three year old and then adding another member to our little family, life was always going to test your strengths and weaknesses, it certainly did test them and at times to the limits!

Besides that, I had been going through some personal challenges and by mid 2019, I was officially diagnosed with high functioning autism, with traits of adhd and dyslexia. I have since been toying with the idea of writing a little more about how it generally affects my daily life, personally and in the day job.

I love this artwork below by Dani and she makes some amazing comics around ADHD. You can find out more about her and how she gets on living with ADHD www.adhddd.com

With the world being a more open and transparent place these days, I feel it's the right thing for me to do.

I had written something, then re-written it again and again. I therefore see this as the beginning and not just a one off blog, but more of an open (within reason) journal.

To read my blog so far check it out ?? If you are living with being on the spectrum, adhd or dyslexia too or know someone who does, I would love to learn more on how to make the most of it...

It seems your first blog has really touched those that know you both professionally and personally. You are a lucky man to be so well regarded by so many people. An inspiration to us all and I am proud to call you my colleague. Look forward to reading more if and when you decide to blog again.?
