I pray God has continued to bless you and your families in keeping all healthy, and in His grace. We serve a mighty powerful God who can do so much more than we can imagine. I am grasping a more profound sense of and understanding of what God can do as I grow in my daily walk of faith. Let us always hold to God's unchanging hand and build our hopes on things eternal.

Colossians 3:1-4

The Message

He Is Your Life

So if you're serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don't shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that's where the action is. See things from his perspective. Your old life is dead. Your new life, which is your real life—even though invisible to spectators—is with Christ in God. He is your life. When Christ (your real life, remember) shows up again on this earth, you'll show up, too—the real you, the glorious you. Meanwhile, be content with obscurity, like Christ.

Colossians 3:1-4

For such a time as this, it's good to know we have an anchor, a sure foundation that has stood the test of time. So for that peace of mind, we always give God praise.

I will share something that I felt led to study, and digging deeper, I found it hard to know how to present it. But today, I trust God will guide me in what and how to say about abortion.

I do not know how this will come forth, but I sense that because of how much information I felt led to study, this sharing may be in a series. Therefore, although if I had made each finding shared, it might have been better, I ask you to be patient with me as I pray God will help me present it.

It seems years ago when I truly believed that abortion was acceptable because it was the women's right to decide what if she wanted to have it done. I mean, it was her body, and she could choose.

Even included the many rationalizations for having an abortion, we are just not ready to have a child to care for, we must wait until we finish school, I don't want to be a single mom, and so on. I thought that the 'we', meaning both the responsible male and female, would agree that abortion was best.

They should have discussed that let's not have sex until we. Then there may not have even been talking of having an abortion.

Still, while never having found me in such a situation, I approved of abortion.

Then fast forward a few years into my seeking salvation. I believed that abortion is wrong simply because God was always in control. The maker of heaven, earth, everything in between, and all in the universe is the only one who can create life; all life. What takes place in a woman's body, is by God for His purpose. And should not be aborted.

I felt guilty by association. I may have not participated but I had approved of it. Not anymore. Once I decided I was guilty I repented for not standing against abortion.

God gives us His Word, but He is not pushy and grants us free will. He always has and always will.

Psalm 139:16

The Message

?Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out;?you formed me in my mother's womb. I thank you, High God—you're breathtaking!?Body and soul, I am marvelously made!?I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out,?you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,?how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth;?all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared?before I'd even lived one day.

Psalm 139:13-16

The Word of God always leads to the proper perspective and brings understanding.

Something I read once was we never know what gift an abortion takes away, it could have been the one with the cure for cancer or some other disease, one who had the answer for poverty, free energy, better housing, and so on (paraphrased).

Romans 8:29-30

The Message

God knew what he was doing from the very beginning. He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love him along the same lines as the life of his Son. The Son stands first in the line of humanity he restored. We see the original and intended shape of our lives there in him. After God made that decision of what his children should be like, he followed it up by calling people by name. After he called them by name, he set them on a solid basis with himself. And then, after getting them established, he stayed with them to the end, gloriously completing what he had begun.

There's no straddling the fence here; abortion is wrong.

Revelation 3:16-17

The Message

"I know you inside and out, and find little to my liking. You're not cold, you're not hot—far better to be either cold or hot! You're stale. You're stagnant. You make me want to vomit. You brag, 'I'm rich, I've got it made, I need nothing from anyone,' oblivious that in fact you're a pitiful, blind beggar, threadbare and homeless.

Revelation 3:15-16

I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

We should pray daily that a revival of repentance will come upon the planet and that we repent for taking the lives of innocent souls before being birthed. Finally, there is a day coming when the United States and all nations that support, accept and legalize abortions shall stand in judgment for the murders of the innocents.

Understanding that God can cause a miscarriage serves His purpose, but now the abortion process has become as easy as taking pills.

Read an article that I'll probably share later about making it legal for someone just to request this pill without examination or being physically present, a pill that will induce an abortion.

Is abortion a form of demonic sacrifice?

As I studied further, I thought it was perhaps a selfish act to have an abortion. People want to have sex without responsibilities. Or even the sacrifice of a child to a pagan god in exchange for fortune and fame.
