Every good idea has to start somewhere.

Every good idea has to start somewhere.

Setup day for my newsletter covering all things careers at the Office for National Statistics (ONS), career advice and hints & tips that will help you in finding a career that counts, whether with the ONS or across the Civil Service.

We will have guest blogs, interviews with colleagues, advice on applications, pointers for other information and support, and roundups of roles and opportunities across the professions.

To get things rolling here is a roundup of social media, careers sites and where to find out everything about the ONS:

LinkedIn careers page - follow our statistical and analysis releases, visit our life pages for profession information, and check out our latest job posts. Whilst you are here, drop by and say hello to some of our colleagues profiles.

Careers page - check out our careers page for more information on what life is like at the ONS, how we support our colleagues, and what a career with ONS means for you.

Twitter - Follow our @ONS, @ONSFocus and @ONSrecruitment accounts for job feeds, statistical information and stories about the people behind the scenes.

Webinars and careers events - Our Eventbrite page is our central hub for all our application support, role specific and advice webinars. You can sign up for webinar events here, and find out more about our career opportunities by talking to our recruitment and hiring manager teams.

That's it for today, signup and follow for weekly information and updates, and do get in touch with any feedback and thoughts on content to include.
