The International Conference for Neutrons in Heritage Science was held last week in Dongguan, China. We were invited to present our NICAS Beeldvorming project in which we developed a data fusion algorithm that adds element composition information to 3D neutron tomography data of heritage objects. Experiments were performed at TU Delft | Reactor Institute in collaboration with Rijksmuseum with thanks to Marijne de Man and Iorgo Giacomo Argyropoulos .
yueer li gave a smashing final presentation of our work https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-024-80047-4, demonstrating how you can use the radioactivity generated in a neutron tomography experiment to your advantage [ (*) Johan Cruyff and Willem van Hanegem, 1970].
