Every day is a New Day!

As the adage goes, I was waiting in the reception of a Dental Clinic when my mother was undergoing her treatment inside. Suddenly I encountered a book rack which had four books. One of the books had the title Talk a little More! by author Ms. Gulsum Basheer. I started flipping the pages assuming that it would be one of those motivational books. Much to my surprise this book contains a small two-page stories which were about the real-life moments, incidents about authors life and the people whom she encounters in her daily life. There were about 30 plus stories which means 30+ incidents. I could not let the book down and I finished reading all the stories. Every story I was able to relate. I felt as though incidents happened in my surroundings. The narrative was very simple there was no vocabulary which anyone could not understand. As I finished the book the Doctor came out and said Do you want to see your mother inside? And I said Yes! He also asked Mam How is the book you are reading. I said I liked the book. He said with Pride Beaming in his eyes that this book was written by his mother! He further said You know one thing My story is also there in this book! I asked which story? The he told me the story which speaks about a small boy of why he is born in the family. I had already read, and my heart was heavy!? If you want to know about little bit about a South Indian Culture all these real-life stories will help you understand. Worth the Read!
