Every day is judgement day

Every day is judgement day

There is no such thing as being judgement free.?

Humans are judgement making machines.?

Judgements allow us to make sense of the world. They allow us to navigate.?

Judgements are sometimes known as assessments, opinions, verdicts, or discernments.?

Judgements are subject to change. We have the power to change the judgements and assessments we make.?

Build awareness of how your assessments drive your actions.?

Mindfulness is a path to making distinctions between what you?know to be absolutely true?(an assertion) and?what you think to be true?(and assessment).?

Develop curiousity about your assessments. What would cause you to change an assessment? Is your assessment working for you, or against you? What assessments do others have about the same event or person??

An example is the assessment of trust for another person. Ask the above questions regarding your trust assessment of a person who is important to you.?

Increased awareness will increase your ability to "hold your assessments as assessments". This is sometimes called being "judgement free".?

Be mindful of those assertions and assumptions that end up actually being less true than you first thought. How many times have wrong assumptions led you astray.?

Listen to your judgements about yourself.?

Write them down. They come from your inner critic. They come from your values and principles. Many times they sound like "I am .........". Start a written list. Come back to it later and add a few more judgements about yourself.?

Are they really true? Would you say these things to someone you love??

Do they serve you? Could you be a bit more flexible with some??

Which ones would you like to change??

Others will make judgements about you everyday.

Give the world the very best version of you to make judgements about
