Just like most companies, New Relic has closed down offices and we are all working from home and it has a benefit to us as a team!

As a team, we are quite spread out across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Thanks to the conscious effort to stay connected we now have daily virtual coffee meetings and a Friday beer/wine/drink to kick-off the weekend.

We all tend to be so focused on being [professional], and now thanks to these efforts, I have learned much more about my colleagues; see some of their kids, learn about their interests in art, music, movies etc. It gives so many more dimensions to a person and this is a beautiful thing. 

Cheers to a great team spirit!
