Disability Advocates urge supreme court not to limit ADA protections

Disability advocates are advocating for greater protection for people with disabilities, urging the U.S. Supreme Court to affirm their rights to sue according to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The advocates contend that "testers," or individuals with disabilities seeking out ADA violations without interacting with the relevant companies, have every right to pursue legal action. Getting real spooky out there for non-compliant businesses...

EEOC adopts new strategic plan

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) announced it has approved its Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2022-2026. The plan outlines six priorities, including increased focus on systemic discrimination, improved monitoring of conciliation agreements, and a focus on technology and innovative outreach strategies to expand the agency’s reach.
