In every accomplishment this country has experienced, WE WERE THERE!..
It is the celebration of our country, to give it a happy send off would be miss leading this year. There is sadness, anger and disappointment for several reasons.
But, it is a recognized date of celebration. A Celebration born out of revolution and victory for some. And even then our black brothers were apart and died for that victory many years before freedom came our way. But yet, it still deserves to be recognized for one of the first to Parrish in the conflict. A black man name Crispus Attucks. I leaned of him as a child from my grand father, and never forgot this man to this day. It is mainly him that I recognize that give me the will to recognize the birth of a nation. Let's not forget, we as a people have been a long side our white brother's and sisters right from the beginning.
In every accomplishment this country has experienced, WE WERE THERE!.. To my follow Americans, on this day we should recognize it for what it is, and was. A day and a time from the beginning that brought us to gather. And still today with more and more of our white brother's and sisters standing beside there black brothers and sisters! It is understood that they are with us in protest today for the many reasons mentioned above, that they know we have been there for America from the start.
Think about it. Think how long we are talking? The 18th century and still in bondage, yet loyal to the same cause. So yes! A celebration! But a celebration in silence. A Celebration in social distance. A celebration in mask. Yet a celebration in much to be done, much to be changed, much to be recognized. On this day I do recognize the independence of this nation. Not in happiness, but in respect that it is here and that it does have meaning. Even in a pandemic crisis.
But to yell, shoot and gather is not warranted for a country that has loss so many, so much in a matter of months! A value that could have been saved. A value that could have been solved in a much more humane way.
To my follow Americans... To you, on this day. With somewhat doubt to say... Happy forth of July!
This is A' Rodor1960 Moment...
