Day 1: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860m) & Trek to Phakding (2,610m) – 3 to 4 hours

- Early morning 35-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla

- Start the trek with a gentle walk to Phakding

- Pass through suspension bridges and small villages

Day 2: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) – 5 to 6 hours

- Walk along the Dudh Koshi River

- Cross the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge

- Enter Sagarmatha National Park

- Reach Namche Bazaar, a lively Sherpa town with shops and bakeries

Day 3: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar

Best Time to Trek

The best seasons for the EBC trek are:

You can also trek in winter (December to February), but it will be cold. Monsoon (June to August) is not recommended due to heavy rain.
