Ever Changing Norms

I smiled the other day when one of my nieces was explaining how one of her teenage sons was struggling with how to deal with a cheque he had received in the post. The whole thing of things not being online, on a card or phone just threw him out of kilter.

Interestingly, we recently had the opposite, with an elderly relative being completely baffled with newer technology, internet, smart phones etc, so the polar opposite of expectations.

Both cases need tolerance and understanding, most of us have or will encounter such things, just as previous generations have and future generations will.

Things change and we adapt as best we can, be that quickly, slowly or not at all. As long as we show tolerance and patience towards each other, everything is possible.
