Events.Studio's Emotion Detection vs Assessment

Events.Studio's Emotion Detection vs Assessment

Events increasingly use emotion detection technology to understand attendees better and tailor their experiences. By analyzing facial expressions, tone of voice, and other nonverbal cues, event organizers can gain insights into how participants feel in real-time—during registration, sessions, or breaks.

At Globibo we experiment a lot. Some things don’t work, some are cool but appear to add little value, and some have a real positive impact on how we can support clients in their work.

Some research projects that we are testing with clients on-site right now:

  • Emotion Detection: We analyze participants' facial expressions and voice tones in real-time. The information is provided to speakers and moderators, helping speakers adapt instantly and making their presentations more effective.
  • Emotion Assessment: We use non-explicit queues in surveys, feedback forms, and biometric data to evaluate participants' overall emotional experience, providing a comprehensive view of their feelings during the event.

We would love to continue our experiments with ideas that you may bring to the table.

Do you know any app that detects and assesses emotions during an event?
