Events galore and celebrating community success

Events galore and celebrating community success

Welcome to the September edition of YSPN Pulse.

YSPN co-ran the 2nd iteration of the Australian Sikh Awards of Excellence a few weeks ago and defining it as inspiring doesn't do it justice! Whilst I'm amazed at how we have community members impacting the socio-economic fabric of Australia, I'm more amazed that it's their application of cultural and spiritual values that have been the drivers of their success! Seeing the finalists and winners over the last 2 years give me confidence that we'll continue to see an increase in our community's representation across all industries and walks of life. Check out the recap video and winners below.

We're also ending the year strong and have a pretty jam packed line up of events this September through till November starting tomorrow! A key focus area for our team is to ensure we deliver something to you that creates a tangible impact in your life and helps you in your leadership ad professional journey. It's with delight that the upcoming 3 events deliver that:

  • develop arguably one of the most important leadership skills, emotional intelligence for navigating conflict resolution (Virtual workshop)
  • navigate the journey into a senior leadership position as a minority (Sydney)
  • broaden your network and build social skills (Wellington)

Make sure you register below, also to our Brisbane and Melbournites, we've got you penciled in for Oct! Lastly, you might've noticed but we've transitioned our event registration to our website instead of Eventbrite (so don't worry, it's us, and not some 'sophisticated' phishing scheme). We'll also be creating more content to host on our website so look out for that too!

To your success, Amardeep Singh Gill ?

P.S. We've got a number of roles available in YSPN across a broad range of teams in NZ, AU and virtually! If you're interested in joining us please?fill out this form and i'll personally reach out to chat.

Dear All Just reading about such events gives me the goose bumps. Tremendous effort and an excellent choice of objectives to be instilled in each one. Often the Sikh stands alone, it is part of his present and his destiny, regardless of his present form (turban / no turban) that aspect is ingrained in his DNA so to say. True to the above and in my own unique way I stand and transmit alone, those acts that shall lead directly to "sarbat da bhala". Two clear pathways are described in the links below, it connects to all and affects all. 1) "SHIVA KAWACH" the impact energy absorbing & scattering innovation "SHIVA KAWACH" the product that actually comes between sure death and life https://www.dhirubhai.net/events/shivakawach-adesssinghandrajant7217510530368847873/theater/ https://www.youtube.com/live/SsZy8ZUzk_4 2) Also please see the next one, again it affects all. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zmF6VWhAx5Ope-SD0wQSbrP_81i78EBy/view?usp=sharing
