EVENTS ARE BACK IN CANNES

It has been a very eventful September already In Cannes. With the Blue skies, the shiny beaches and the people!

At The Palais des Festival Cannes we have seen MIPIM taking place last week of a shorter version that normal with 2 days with a good turnout of attendees, not as many suits as normal though a feeling of energised good vibes. I had meetings with some new potential clients which was great to be talking at the future with a more positive outlook, though not seeing any of my regular faces which I have greatly missed. I am sure it will be bigger than ever next year!

Following MIPIM we had The Cannes Yacht Show, WOW what an amazing show, it certainly helped that most of the show was hosted outdoors and on the sea. There was a fantastic number of attendees including myself. You never know when you might want to purchase a super yacht or for my bank account a two man rowing boat. It was such a good feeling to be talking with people on the exhibition stands and around the show. Like most of us it’s been a very long time for a ‘real face to face’.

Finishing, we had The Sensi Wellness weekend that took place at the lovely Palm Beach. The feeling and atmosphere was relaxed and full of Zen. A wide range of exhibitors from 100% Bamboo clothing, wind chimes, handmade candles, with workshops running all weekend for reconnecting the body and mind. It was a great success.

Overall Cannes is opening up with a great success rate, I think all locals are thankful that there has been more business and a positive reaction from visitors how things have been handled during these challenging changing times.

Next Year will be Bigger and Better than ever, that is the word on the streets. We cannot wait to welcome back our regular visitors and of course new ones too.
