This year we
HUSTEF
tried to improve our event app experience and purchased a new app for our conference.
I can tell you we have had good experiences from both admin and attendee perspective.
From attendees' perspective the app does just what is expected and behaves as a digital booklet where folks can:
- check the programme and bookmark the talks they are interested in
- check speaker profiles
- interact with the speaker during the talk by asking questions
- attendees can upvote questions so they move upwards in the ranking
- they can rate the speakers on a 1 to 5 star scale and additionally give free-text feedback
- other than that they can connect with each other and have an instant chat with their new friend
- and if they are in the mood they can use the social wall to share their photos just taken at the conference
- but conference organizers just like us can upload a floor plan so attendees can easily navigate in the conference venue
- what if there is something to be announced? well there is also an information wall where organizers can share the latest information like: change of schedule, break being over soon, etc.
From an organizers' perspective there are quite a few nice features:
- you can import attendees from an excel sheet or use its built-in ti.to integration to fetch attendees as they buy their tickets on ti.to
- you can send announcements to attendees who will receive a push notification make it less likely to miss something important
- you can work on a really intuitive UI. TBH I almost needed no help
- though when I needed help an agent was quick to respond for my questions submitted in the build-in chat
-
Eventee
is affordable compared to competitors with great support
- you can configure Q and A, or even polls for any sessions
- there is a pretty nice analytics tool so you get access to a wide range of analytics: speakers' scores, engagement score, attendance, free-text feedbacks from the attendees, average speaker score, networking related stats and a lot more.
- other than that anyone can propose new features, report bugs and follow their life. Just like their roadmap is public so you can quickly check what they are working on and when to expect a new feature
All in all we had really good experiences so I can only recommend
Eventee
CEO of Eventee - making events better for Stanford, Oxford, SAP, Siemens, Atlas Copco, and many more. ??
1 年Wow, reading this made my day! It's always great to see firsthand experiences with Eventee, especially from respected events like HUSTEF - Hungarian Software Testing Forum. I'm genuinely glad that both attendees and organizers found value in the app. Feedback like yours keeps us motivated to continue enhancing and innovating! ?? A huge thanks for choosing Eventee and for the recommendation. Cheers to more successful events together! ???? #GratefulFounder #EventTech #HUSTEFExperience
