Event of the Week : Cinco De Mayo
As I always say, to have a successful resident event, you should be proactive to get the optimal result. Throwing together last-minute events can backfire and cause additional strain on the staff. I created the Event of the Week newsletter to ease you and your team's life a little, and give you ideas and motivation for your future community events. So, today I want to inspire you to arrange one of the brightest holidays in May — Cinco De Mayo.
This traditional Mexican celebration is held on May 5 every year and marks the anniversary of Mexico’s victory over France and Napoleon III in 1862. The holiday celebrates the courage and strength of the Mexican people against invaders. Many people in the United States and Mexico and I personally adore this celebration because of the colorful parades, Mexican music, dancing, and traditional food. This holiday has everything to get new tenants acquainted with others.?
Here are my 3 event ideas to create the best of a kind Cinco De Mayo party in your community:

Tequila tasting it’s the best way to relax your guests and promote casual, informal chatting between them. But if you want to cheer up your tenants after a workday (since May 5 this year is on Thursday) you should invite a Live Latin band for a performance. And I always vote for Mexican food from a local food truck to highlight the Mexican concept of the event and to get people acknowledged with traditional dishes. No matter if you use all these ideas on the same day or just one. But I promise — your tenants will come and praise your endeavors.
