You should know your budget, your guests count and the type of event. Then you're off to the races with site visits, which are time-consuming. We typically book our venues well in advance, but allow at least 6 months to give you plenty of planning time. Your first search should use an online tool like @Bizbash to search for venues. You can search by guests count, location, venue type to name just a few options. Other things to consider. What's the layout of the venue and how will impact my flow? Is this what I envisioned? Is there parking or nearby transportation? What's the capacity if I choose a different layout? Who will be my day of contact if different from the sales rep. What's set-up time or Event Speak, when can I load-in? Is there a charge for early load-in? #venue #sitevisit #events #location #hotels #loft #studio #ballroom #theater #suites #restaurant #galleries #museum

7 年Hey, great tips! I had not heard of Bizbash so I checked it out. I found San Francisco suppliers to reach out to and offer my expertise in Sonoma Wine Country events!
