PowerPoint slides are designed to supplement your presentation and reference important ideas. Your slides should help clarify ideas, emphasize key points, show relationships and provide visual information to help your audience understand your message.

Use a large font.

Use a sans serif font like Arial or Veranda.

Use the 6 x 6 rule per slide: No more than six words across or six bullet points down.

Use high resolution images.
