Event Tickets Center Sets Sights On Global Horizons

Event Tickets Center is continuously looking for opportunities to invest and increase our presence in the highly competitive ticketing industry. We are excited to announce that we have taken an exciting step into the vibrant tech sector of Santiago, Chile. In collaboration with our trusted SEO consulting partners, Previsible.io, we have established a new office in the heart of Santiago and welcomed local talent into our ever-evolving workforce. Chile’s technology sector has never been hotter. As of July 2023, foreign investments in Chile’s economy reached US $12.91 billion. Chile continues to offer attractive investment opportunities for foreign companies, which value the transparency, stability and talent Chile offers. Recently, our upper management team embarked on a journey to Santiago to celebrate this significant milestone, connect with the local team, embrace and learn about Chilean culture, and fine-tune operations. The trip had several key goals, all aimed at fostering growth and efficiency.

1. Strengthening Bonds and Building a Unified Team

One of the primary objectives of this trip was to strengthen the bonds between our offices in the United States and the Santiago office. Building a sense of unity and teamwork is essential for a company's success, and this journey provided the perfect opportunity for face-to-face interactions and relationship-building. Team leads spent quality time with the Santiago team, fostering a sense of belonging and creating a unified global workforce. The two teams engaged in multiple team-building activities that tested both cultural and language barriers with the hope of accomplishing seemingly impossible tasks in a smooth and effective manner.?

2. Learning About Chilean Culture and Work Ethic

Understanding the local culture and work ethic is crucial when expanding to a new country. The management team engaged in various cultural experiences and interacted with locals to gain insights into the Chilean way of life. This not only promotes cultural sensitivity but also helps in adapting business operations to align with the local culture, making for a more harmonious and productive work environment.

3. Celebrating Growth

The Santiago office's establishment marked a significant milestone for Event Tickets Center and Previsible.io. The journey provided an opportunity to celebrate this achievement and acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the teams involved. Recognizing and celebrating milestones is an essential part of fostering a positive and motivated work atmosphere.

4. Operational Fine-Tuning and Increasing Output

With the global economy becoming increasingly competitive, operational efficiency is of utmost importance. The trip to Santiago allowed upper management to work closely with the local team, identifying areas where operations could be fine-tuned for greater efficiency. This process involves streamlining processes, optimizing workflow, and ultimately increasing the output of the Santiago office. The transfer of knowledge and expertise from the teams in the United States to the Santiago team was a valuable aspect of this expansion. It was a true pleasure to observe teams from both countries form working relationships and take full advantage of these unique in-person interactions. Projects that would have otherwise been measured in months, coalesced in a matter of days and set the standard for both teams?

5. Building a Strong Local Workforce

Hiring local talent was a crucial part of our expansion strategy. Santiago boasts a pool of skilled tech professionals, and bringing them on board is essential for the growth and success of Event Tickets Center. The trip included laying the foundation for future extensive recruitment efforts to identify and hire the best and brightest talents Santiago has to offer. This not only boosts the local job market but also contributes to the global growth of our company. What was stunning to? our team was just how talented the Santiago team was. It is no small feat to recruit a few knowledgeable talents from Santiago, but to assemble a team of a dozen bright, curious, productive, and creative folks is a miracle.?

In conclusion, Event Tickets Center's journey to Santiago, Chile, was not just a geographical expansion; it was an exploration of culture, a celebration of growth, and a step towards greater efficiency. It exemplifies the company's commitment to building a global workforce that values unity, diversity, and productivity. As the Santiago office continues to evolve and integrate within our organization, we look forward to the shared successes and achievements that lie ahead. Event Tickets Center and Previsible.io are poised for an exciting future, and the journey to Santiago is just the beginning of this remarkable story.

STAY AWAY from ETC....They took my AMEX card for a ride. I purchased two General Admission seats (< $50 each) but was charged $117 for two "Zone" seats that are actually GA. Plus they hit me with aa $74 service fee and $10 delivery. In total, $347 for two general admission seats that should've cost ~ $150! ??
