Event is a part of human society. In most societies small excuse could be found for a good celebration. There are so many traditional celebrations which are formal. Development of economy and increasing fast pace of life, demand an expert to organize large celebration. This bottleneck has made way for new service industry like event management.

In Bangladesh event management started in late Nineties. Nowadays event management is a multi-million dollar industry. We also have some experienced workforce and companies. We manage some large scale international standard events here in Bangladesh.

 1.0 Event Management:

Event management is a function of project management to the creation, development and execution of the events.

Event Management involves studding the details of a brand or product, identifying target audience, planning of concept and logistics, coordinating technical aspects and execution of proposed event.

Event management typically involves identification of target audience, devising a concept, plan logistics as well as coordinate and execute modalities of an event. Many companies host and organize events ranging from small private events to large-scale international events like Olympic, World cup, Asian games, film festivals that virtually represent the image of a whole country. Event management companies come into picture when corporate, charitable organizations and other groups want to hold events to market themselves, build business relationships, raise money or celebrate an event.
