Two weeks to go until our?International Women's Day celebration on 7 March 2024 Our event is in association with Irwin Mitchell and all proceeds from the event will go to The Prince's Trust, one of our chosen charity partners.
We will gather at the gorgeous Hotel Café Royal in their Queensberry room for a welcome coffee and networking before taking our places for breakfast and an inspirational panel discussion.?The morning will also feature a silent auction and raffle made up of prizes donated by the women-led brands in our community.

Aisha, Fanny, Adwoa and Lilidh are four of the 16 young women who have joined The Women's Chapter through our partnership with The Prince's Trust to support female entrepreneurs. They will share their inspirational business journeys with us and discuss what inclusion?means to them. Whitney graduated from Columbia University in 1998 and started her career in Paris working for Tom Ford at Gucci. In 2016, she resigned from her position as SVP of Communications of TOM FORD after working for the designer for 18 years to found FLOWERBX, the online flower delivery service that has become the first premium global flower brand, operating?its omnichannel model across the UK and US.

Fanny is a London-based portrait photographer and founder of Fanny Beckman Photography. She uses art to raise awareness of social injustice, with a clear focus on equality and sustainability. She was four years old when she got her first camera and ever since, photography has been an important part of her life.
Adwoa Akoto, Founder of DWIRA
Adwoa is a British-Ghanaian Actress, Writer, and Entrepreneur known for her roles in "I May Destroy You (BBC/HBO), "Hapless” (Amazon), and "This England” (SKY). Adwoa Founded DWIRA, a Ghanaian skin and wellness brand inspired by her Grandma, an ex-beauty queen’s traditional beauty secrets and recently launched BYOT Studios, dedicated to amplifying stories from Africa and its diaspora on a global stage.?
Lilidh Matthews, Founder of Finding Roots
Lilidh, Scottish spelling,?pronounced as ‘Lily’, has always dreamt of owning her?own garden. Somewhere to relax, find inspiration and admire nature. However, urban apartment living means finding gardening solutions to fit her?balcony. After years of lugging plants and compost home on the tube, potting up on a tarpaulin in her?living room and desperately trying to keep up with watering, Lilidh?created Finding Roots.
