Even South Africa is not immune to Racial hypocrisy (War in Ukraine. Part - 8)

Last week, South Africa filed a suit against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the Hague, accusing Israel of Genocide in Gaza, in its war against Hamas.

It is indeed the same South Africa, that repeatedly has refused to condemn Putin for his invasion of Ukraine, which has caused the deaths of more than 70′000 just in Ukraine and displaced more than 8 million. Not to forget the utter Scorched Earth strategies of Russian forces.

To make it worse, President Ramaphosa of South Africa had even tried to flaunt the International Criminal Court (of which it is a signatory) by inviting convicted war criminal Putin to come and attend the BRICS in August last year.

I am sure that South Africa would have wandered a much different course today if President Mandela was at its helm.

Fortunately, we do not have to second guess what Nelson Mandela would have said: https://youtu.be/HJcGTjAFGjk?si=kRfsstmhOGFQB1lB
