EvaluScale and Ranking of Offerings

his week we released the latest scrubbing of our EvaluScale Comparison Matrices. We've been creating these matrices since -- well way before me -- going back in the the early 2000's. These are independent, no-vendor sponsorship, data is gathered ourselves from digging, digging, digging -- (in fact a few are "hostages," as we did not get the info from the vendors, but had to dig and find the materials). There are three parts:

1. The technology comparison. Side by side technical details. (all the gory information you try to find on line and half the time is out of date. And for those that think these can be found in a data sheet --- well ----...ah hem).

1. EvaluScale Criteria and Rankings. We determine the the top 10 (or 11 or 12) key criteria for selection of a tech offering. This is vetted by our IT End User relationships. We rank Exceeds, Meets, Area for Development for each offering. The result is a heat map.

1. Product Reviews. The third component is the reviews. The Product Brief or longer form Product Analysis will give the details on the offering, why the product is Ranked in the EvaluScale and our recommendations. (dropping in a couple of pages here)!
