The water extraction press is the core equipment of the tunnel washer system, and its stability affects the entire system's operation. Let's explore the influence of the hydraulic system, oil cylinder, and water extraction basket on the stability of the water extraction press.

The Hydraulic System

The hydraulic system is the heart of the water extraction press. The stability of the press's pressure is reflected in the hydraulic system. The stroke of the press cylinder, each pressing action, the response speed of the main cylinder, and the accuracy of pressure control are all determined by the hydraulic system. An unstable system not only has a high failure rate but also increases the linen damage rate.

The Brand and Diameter of the Oil Cylinder

The pressure of the water bag is related to two factors: the diameter of the oil cylinder and the pressure of the hydraulic system. When the hydraulic system output pressure is the same, a larger cylinder diameter results in higher pressure during water extraction, while a smaller diameter results in lower pressure. Similarly, when the water bag pressure is the same, a smaller cylinder diameter requires higher pressure from the hydraulic system, demanding more from it.

The Water Extraction Basket

The quality of the water extraction basket affects the linen damage rate and the water bag's lifespan. When wet linen falls from the tunnel washer into the basket from over one meter high, the impact is significant. If the basket's strength is insufficient, it may deform slightly over time. This deformation misaligns the water bag and the basket, increasing friction and causing damage to the water bag, which is expensive to replace. Misalignment also traps linen between the bag and the basket, increasing damage rates. Additionally, improper design of the gap between the basket and the water bag or misalignment of the oil cylinder and the basket can also cause linen damage.
