Evaluating 2017 & What 2018 Will Be

Thinking about my year - closing down 2017, I’m optimistic and more ready for 2018 than ever. I’ve experienced some great times - WrestleMania in Orlando, CAC in Las Vegas, my personal and professional development conferences with the best friends in the world in Miami/Vegas, Britney and Lady Gaga concerts in Vegas. I’m grateful for all these experiences and more. Personally, there’s been some health challenges with my family that have been challenging but gratefully, we always stay close and take care of each other. I grew up in a household where family is everything.

I dealt with a lot more discomfort than I had not expected professionally, but I also made very proactive decisions regarding my professional and personal life and I am grateful for those pivots. I made decisions that support my entrepreneurial spirit where I have a lot more control over my own destiny than I had in the past, and those will carry through 2018 and beyond. Every challenging experience only grows who I am as a person and my adversity and just how badly I want my dreams to come true. Everything that happens, happens for a reason. I may not know why right now, but one day it will all make sense. As a result, I’ve traveled a lot more (one of my deepest passions in life and pulpits :)) and I’ve made lifetime friendships that I wouldn’t have made without making those leaps of faith.

I’ve been spending time this weekend taking a hard look at every area of my life. I’ve been using Jullien Gordon’s amazing 2018 New Year Guide (which I recommend at https://julliengordon.com/build-dona...) & 52-Week Planner and 5-hour live event he did on December 30th online so generously, free of charge. It’s a great way to focus every area of your life from spiritual and physical health, personal and professional development, your financial health, your relationships personally and professionally, scheduling time for yourself and much more. It’s a way to achieve clarity, to write out where you are now and where you will be and what will help you stay accountable. Something I know about myself - when I take my eye off the goals and I get caught up in momentary speed bumps, all the fears come out like a chorus, all the people who didn’t believe in me or hurt me, comes out in my mind, and it’s like getting swept up in a rip tide. It is important to have a reset button, focus on what’s good, pivot, and get back in the game. Remember all the things you’ve done that you wanted to happen and did. Turn up the music that raises your vibration, call someone who loves you where you are at and sees you at your greatest potential. You’re the creator of your own show - drop kick the drama and get on with the show.

2018 is going to be the year of my Financial Freedom. This is going to be the year I help others achieve their goals and dreams. This is the year I teach others how they can travel the world and invest in cryptocurrency. This is the year of Fun, Freedom and Fulfillment. This is the year I trust my instincts and my brand of leadership. This is the year of MORE (literally, every area of my life, and my pro wrestling organization, Masters Of Ring Entertainment). I’m going to surround myself with people who support me and will have a zero tolerance for those who are not down for the vision I have set for myself. Each day I’m going to challenge myself to always do better than the next. I’m going to inspire the world to follow their inner calling and make their dreams happen. I’m going to inspire the world to realize that you don’t need to follow a lifestyle that you aren’t passionate about just to draw a paycheck if you don’t want to. You always have a choice. You can’t tell the universe or yourself that you reallyyyyy want to achieve something unless you are truly all in. You can’t half ass this. You can’t say one thing and collapse to your fears privately. You gotta own it on every level. Even if you don’t have it right now - you gotta put it in your present and live your vision! I’m going to teach the world about my philosophy of penthouse thinking. It’s time that you become the greatest version of yourself you can be.

This is the year that I’m truly unstoppable.

This is the year I’m ALL IN. Join me. Let’s make it happen. In gratitude to God, Jesus, my family, my friends, the team of angels that look out for me, my teammates, our fans at MORE, my colleagues, my clients who have put faith in me and my team, my mentors, the music that brings me inspiration, and my amazing dogs. May we all be blessed in 2018.
