?? Last Friday Stuart McBain and his team embarked on 'Charge Around Australia', a 3-month trip around the coast of the country in a car powered by the energy of the sun. The 9,000 or so miles will be travelled in a Tesla from one of our very own evee hosts!
?? BYD EV sales reach a new record as Australian deliveries begin. Last month the company reported 174,915 new energy vehicle sales, a whopping 185% increase compared to this time last year!
?? Within a week of its production announcement, the Polestar 6 electric convertible has sold out! The model is expected to launch in 2026 but interest is so high that the 500 build slots were quickly snapped up.
?? Toyota has recently announced that it will be investing $5.6 billion into producing electric vehicle batteries. Battery production is expected to begin between 2024 and 2026.
