Ps.: Our goal is to get rid of the marketing fluff on LinkedIn and handpick relevant posts in the field of EV charging.
What is driving our interest in EV Charging?
Two topics we′re currently deep-diving into are Depot Charging and Home Reimbursement.
Depot charging refers to the practice of charging electric vehicles (EVs) at a centralized location where a fleet of vehicles is stored and maintained. This type of charging is particularly relevant for commercial and enterprise fleets, such as those used by logistics companies, public transportation agencies, or service providers.
Home reimbursement refers to the process by which companies compensate their employees for the costs associated with charging company-owned electric vehicles (EVs) at their homes. This practice is becoming increasingly important as more businesses adopt EVs for their fleets and seek to provide flexible charging solutions for their employees.
Hot topic for Charging Operators as well as Automotive OEMs, we′re working together. Our project focus lies on identifying Customer Needs, feasibility and special features for Commercial Fleets (S-XL) as well as screening related market activities.
Tobias Wagner had his last day at ChargeX. Is he turning his back on electromobility?
Tobias: "I have already made an impact in passenger cars, but the field of electric commercial vehicles fascinates me and is essential for decarbonizing the transport sector."
Starting in July, he will drive a 42-ton electric truck long-distance for 12 months, partnering with Nanno Janssen GmbH to test 27 electric trucks from Volvo Trucks, Scania Germany, DAF Trucks Germany, IVECO, and Mercedes-Benz Trucks Germany. He′ll push these vehicles to their limits with the public DC charging infrastructure, gaining firsthand insights into the industry's challenges and opportunities.
We′re wishing you a fantastic trip! Have fun and a great time! Looking forward to your reports.
