The European Power Sector in 2019

On Wednesday @13h, we will – together with Sandbag – launch for the fifth time our annual report on the status of the energy transition in the European power sector. Based on data up to 31.12.2019, many graphs visualise the most important trends on power consumption, renewable electricity, electricity from conventional sources, CO-2 emissions, prices and interconnections, and some informed estimation where we will be at the end of 2020. This year, we - sadly - also have a section on the impact of Brexit.
