China coming out of the lockdown – Eurasia doing very well…

As Shanghai emerged from two months of lockdown, government has made reviving the local economy with key policy goal which Covid disruptions to manufacturing and logistics eased from May, allowing several factories to ramp up production and Shanghai port, warehouses, to accelerate operations.

Exports and imports in Covid-hit regions such as the Yangtze River Delta rapidly returned to growth after an initial decline, however while import trade is expected to maintain steady growth in the second half, the outlook remains uncertain.

Daily container throughput this year at Shanghai port had earlier been severely affected by a lockdown, nevertheless, thanks to stimulus measures and the lifting of lockdowns, China’s import entered an upswing recently.

The acceleration in China’s imports was eye-catching, the high growth likely reflected Shanghai’s reopening and a recovery in transport capacity.?

“Pending containers and merchandises in the warehouse was a big challenge for us, especially when we are not used to adapt overload work through the lock down, but fortunately we did a great job of epidemic prevention and control to ensure continuous and stable operations, this is the key reason why clients chose us as the center to distribute their merchandises,” said by Simon Chuang, President of Eurasia.

Here we might find statistic from customs which has been accomplished in FanCheng import bonded warehouse, From January to June, over 50% increment of container de-stuffing and shipment releasing has been detected comparing with same period of last year, Daily consoles operation numbers increased over 40% comparing with numbers before the lock down.?

Growth in foreign import trades resumed significantly in May and June on the back of an improving COVID situation, policies to stabilize growth and work resumption, although there are still some unstable and uncertain factors, but we believe domestic production and demand will be gradually recovered.
