The Senior Program Manager is a pivotal leadership role within our organization. This individual will be responsible for the successful global development, registration, and launch of pharmaceutical products. This role involves managing a matrix team and providing oversight for all key functions and activities, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the development and launch of innovative pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, proven leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality pharmaceuticals in areas of high unmet medical need.

This role reports to the SVP Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
·???????? Leadership: Guide the global development, registration, and launch of pharmaceutical products, in collaboration with functional leads. This includes setting strategic direction, making critical decisions, and ensuring alignment with overall corporate objectives.
·???????? Matrix Team Management: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of project goals. Matrix team members include, but are not limited to: clinical operations, regulatory, manufacturing, logistics/supply chain, medical affairs, marketing, commercial/sales, market access and quality assurance. Each of these functions plays a crucial role in the successful development, registration, and launch of pharmaceutical products.
·???????? Team Communication: Effectively communicate the program’s objectives, strategies, and progress to all team members. This ensures everyone understands their roles and responsibilities, influencing their actions and decisions.
·???????? Collaboration: Fosters a collaborative environment where each team member feels valued and heard. By encouraging open dialogue and considering diverse perspectives, they influence consensus-driven decisions.
·???????? Conflict Resolution: In a matrix organization, conflicts may arise due to differing priorities or perspectives. The Program Manager plays a key role in resolving these conflicts, influencing decisions towards a common goal.
·???????? Negotiation: The manager negotiates resources, timelines, and priorities with different functional heads. Their ability to negotiate effectively influences decisions related to resource allocation and project timelines.
·???????? Strategic Thinking: The manager uses their knowledge and experience to make strategic decisions that influence the course of the program. They consider various factors such as market trends, regulatory guidelines, and company objectives.
·???????? Decision Making: Facilitate decisions that balance the needs of these functions while ensuring alignment with overall program objectives.
·???????? Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic product development and launch plans. This includes setting timelines, allocating resources, and monitoring progress. It may also involve creating and monitoring a roadmap to onboard new capabilities prior to the next phase of development.
·???????? Reporting: Prepare/coordinate performance reports and presentations for team meetings, management reviews, and stakeholder communications. Reports may include, but are not limited to: progress reports, risk management reports, resource utilization reports, stakeholder communications, and performance reports against agreed objectives and key performance indicators.
·???????? Risk Management: Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues early on, and implement proactive mitigation strategies to ensure a timely and successful product launch.

Qualifications:
·???????? Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
·???????? Minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on product development and launch.
·???????? Proven experience in managing matrix teams and overseeing key functions and activities.
·???????? Extensive knowledge of global regulatory standards and guidelines for pharmaceutical products.
·???????? Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

Salary Range: ?125,000-150,000 annually
