European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen said that the EU can confiscate €300B from Russian Central Bank reserves and use the funds for Ukraine rebuilding. Ukraine’s sustained damage is estimated to be around €600bn.

Three bids are in the running to build Fourth Mainland Bridge, a 38km link between Lagos city and Lagos Island. The project has a budget of $2.5 Billion. 3 consortiums led by China Communications, China Civil Engineering Construction, and China Gezhouba Group are in the running.?

Saudi Arabia has the highest number of hotels in the construction pipeline in Middle East, followed by UAE according to Lodging Econometrics’ Q3 2022 Middle East Construction Pipeline Trend. 210 out of a total of 535 projects are located in the Kingdom.

14) Jordan aims for 50% renewable energy by 2030
Jordan’s Energy and Mineral Resources Minister has announced that the country wants to source 50% of its total energy use from renewable sources by 2030! The country’s renewable energy output is currently at 29%. Jordan ranks third in Arab countries for green energy production.
