Your experience matters to us
The EU Online Survey of Practitioners is addressing a critical need: to ensure the expertise and experience of front-line practitioners dealing with radicalisation, violent extremism, terrorism and organised crime are understood, and listened to when making policy and practice.
Who is it for
The survey is for front line practitioners in all EU countries. This includes: community workers, youth workers, local authorities, law enforcement agencies, educators, psychologists, security professionals and others dealing with radicalisation, violent extremism, terrorism and organised crime, including those working on: prevention, education, early intervention, legal measures and response and more.
If your work in any way addresses radicalisation, violent extremism, terrorism and organised crime in your community, country or the EU, we would like to hear from you.
How your input will be used
The survey itself is confidential. The findings will inform: an EU report; development of toolkits for practitioners; creation of an online portal with a library or practice; policy and practice briefings to inform policy makers and practitioners. These will be made freely and openly available.

7 年Great initiative. It is extremely important for practitioners to share their visions and experiences, so we can work together towards designing and implementing evidence-based solutions to countering and preventing violent extremism and terrorism. I will share this among my contacts!

7 年Thanks for this! It's incredibly important that practitioners from all backgrounds - especially those practitioners from law enforcement and security dealing with terrorism and violent extremism - have their say in designing the tools, policies and solutions architecture that will eventually affect them on the ground. Most of the research I've done suggest that there are needs in law enforcement that are universal across Europe, so being able to collate this information in one survey is vital. Would recommend to anyone who feels they can valuable contribute to take part!

7 年The survey is open to practitioners across all EU Member States, Switzerland and Norway. We are particularly asking practitioners, law enforcement agencies and experts working in the field to: 1. contribute through completing the survey themselves while also 2. sharing it further through your networks with professional colleagues and partner organisations within your country and - if relevant - across Europe. Many thanks
