Far-right leaders were on track for their best Europe-wide result ever but voters might not be ready to give up on the European Union or to embrace leaders who want to weaken it from within.
Across the continent, euroskeptic forces captured about 23 percent of the legislature’s 751 seats, initial results indicated. It’s unlikely they’ll be strong enough to be a blocking minority.
Voters boosted Greens and other pro-European Union leftists, and hit hard the 'pro-business' factions representing mostly USA's global imperialism interest. Greens and other pro-environment, socially liberal parties have been the surprise of the election
It was impossible to achieve a full-scale political revolution with fully controlled media by the global financial elite rigging the elections, however, this was 'as close as it gets' to a peaceful revolution in the existing corrupt system.
The continent has been rocked by the globalist rule last years, financial crises, due to wealth accumulation on one side and austerity on the other, terrorist attacks, a refugee crisis, Britain’s decision to leave the bloc, brutal colonization of the Balkans, the break-up of enlargement and security policies.
In France, far-right leader Marine Le Pen called the results “the erasure of the old parties” and said the vote “confirms the new divide between nationalism and globalization.” Yet her results are not sufficient for a full-scale national shift despite months of national protests against Macron and his 'pro-USA's global imperialism'.
The result is a European Parliament in which the centrist parties failed to reach a majority for the first time and will have to draw support from lawmakers with a bit less USA centered imperialistic views how to run Europe. The concern for the planet’s future and quality of life had “played a dominant role” in the campaign, and voters were punishing the government for its “hesitancy” in confronting the issue. EU voted for a real social democracy but it is hardly possible they may seize control over money-centered sharks in Brussels.
The most significant victory was made by Croatian 'Zivi Zid', who won the seat in the EP despite the media blackout in the Balkans and fierce repression of its colonial governance. They represent the new wave of Europe and they succeeded on grass root and social media campaign.
With more than 400 million eligible voters, the European Parliament elections are the second-largest exercise of democracy in the world. After decades of slipping participation, turnout this year was sharply higher — about 51 percent, up from 42.6 in 2014.
