Learning to use AI wisely while not losing ourselves
Hand on heart – if you’re in a meeting and everyone else seems to understand something, except you. Do you ask about it? Or do you save the question for AI?
Sometimes a simple explanation can be an eye-opener if we just dare to ask that ‘stupid’ question. So I want to fiercely make a case for safeguarding dynamic discussions, where we dare to bare our shortcomings to expand our horizons.
There are certainly other pitfalls when it comes to navigating an AI world. We already know not to rely blindly on AI to be accurate. But we don’t inherently know how to use it legally. For that, we need a basic understanding of the workings and limitations of AI – and knowledge about regulations.
While AI is a transformative tool that lets us create smarter and more impactful results, we humans must be the ones who create our future by managing our use wisely and be transparent about it.
This newsletter focuses on using AI in sound and legal ways.?
Are you on board with the new AI regulation? ??
The EU is tightening up the wild west of AI through its new regulation, the EU AI Act. It came into force last August, with first provisions to be implemented by 2 February. So it’s high time to get on board with its contents and find out what you need to do.
?We took a close look at the regulation and found a good foundation that:
? Promotes trustworthy AI.
? Protects EU citizens against harmful AI.
? Advocates transparency.
? Will be updated over time – and most likely tightened.
Are you aware of how the EU AI Act affects you? If not, keep reading – and don’t miss out on what Anna Larsson, Associate of Foyen law firm, has to say.
