ETHOS Event Collective is excited to share updates from the Passion Project Initiative. This is our commitment to using business as a force for good by working with local nonprofits in each of our destinations. Through this initiative, ETHOS aims to support and uplift the communities we serve, making a positive impact that extends beyond our events.?

In this newsletter series, you will be introduced to the local nonprofits ETHOS is working with within each of our destinations.?This journey will take us to the stunning Grand Cayman, a destination renowned for its crystal-clear waters, vibrant marine life, and rich cultural heritage.?

Our team is thrilled to come alongside four remarkable organizations here, each dedicated to creating positive change and supporting those in need.?

In 2024, ETHOS Event Collective is working with the NCVO Cayman Islands , Jasmine , Cayman Islands Cancer Society and YMCA Cayman Islands .

The National Children’s Voluntary Organization (NCVO), is a 24/7 residential foster care home facility and low-income preschool and nursery that has been serving The Cayman Islands community for 50 years.? Dedicated to the care, education, and well-being of families needing support, the NCVO provides crucial subsidies that enable struggling families to access essential resources.??

Opportunities to integrate this organization into your program include volunteering in their thrift store, getting your hands dirty in the playground or veggie patches, and offering support through coin drives.??

Jasmine is the island's sole provider of hospice and palliative care services, committed to enhancing the lives of individuals facing life-limiting illnesses free of charge. Their approach transcends medical care, offering long-term emotional and spiritual support to enhance the well-being of both patients and their families. Their 6,000-square-foot Villa facility serves as a compassionate haven for patients, reaffirming their invaluable presence in the community.??

Opportunities to integrate this organization into your program include volunteering during their Flag Day fundraiser event held every year.??

The Cayman Islands Cancer Society (CICS) has been an anchor of support for cancer patients and their loved ones since its establishment in 1995. Over the years, CICS has evolved to meet the community's changing needs. In close collaboration with local hospitals and the government's Ministry of Health, they provide a wide range of services, including support for public health initiatives, financial aid assistance, preventive and educational programs, and voucher programs for routine health screenings.?????

Opportunities to integrate this organization into your program include organizing a group event to support their cause.??

YMCA of the Cayman Islands provides diverse activities and services that empower individuals, build communities, and foster growth through programs rooted in core principles like youth development, healthy living, social responsibility, and character development. Their inclusive, barrier-free approach ensures that all families can benefit and engage in positive change.??

Opportunities to integrate this organization into your program include fundraising for the Y’s Caring Campaign, which addresses the additional needs of families facing economic challenges in Cayman Brac and Grand Cayman.??
