ETHOS Event Collective is excited to share updates from the Passion Project Initiative. This is our commitment to using business as a force for good by working with local nonprofits in each of our destinations. Through this initiative, ETHOS aims to support and uplift the communities we serve, making a positive impact that extends beyond our events.? ?

In this newsletter series, you will be introduced to the local nonprofits ETHOS is working with within each of our destinations. This journey will begin in beautiful Amelia Island, a destination known for its picturesque beaches, rich history, and vibrant community spirit. Our team is thrilled to come alongside four remarkable organizations here, each dedicated to creating positive change and supporting those in need.?

In 2024, ETHOS Event Collective will be working with K9s For Warriors , Barnabas Center , Micah's Place , and Keep Nassau Beautiful, Inc. .?

K9s For Warriors combat veteran suicide by facilitating healing experiences for military veterans. Their impactful work begins with rescuing dogs from shelters facing euthanasia, transforming them into highly trained Service Dogs, effectively saving two lives. During a transformative three-week program at the K9s For Warriors campus, veterans forge deep connections with their assigned dogs, leading to improved mental and physical well-being.?

Corporate groups can support this organization by inviting adoptable dogs to events for relaxation breaks, conducting employee drives to stock the kennel, writing encouraging notes for Warriors, crafting blankets, and organizing much-needed car washes for their vehicle fleet.??

Barnabas Center has provided steadfast support to Nassau County for over three decades, embodying the essence of hope for everyone they touch. Their mission revolves around helping individuals and families in need through medical and dental care, providing nutritious meals as a certified Diabetic Education site, and offering essential financial and educational assistance. They empower their community by identifying what needs they can meet for each person they encounter.?

Corporate groups can support this organization by meal-packing, crafting painted bowls for their Empty Bowls program, assembling hygiene kits, or sorting through clothing donations.?

Keep Nassau Beautiful is an organization that fosters personal appreciation, pride, and responsibility for the natural beauty of Nassau County. Their work is an integral part of our community for sustainability, beautification, and preservation of our natural environment. Their programs, including Keep Nassau Beautiful, Wild Amelia, and Planting Nassau's Future, exemplify their unwavering commitment to enhancing the region's beauty. Micah's Place has a resolute mission to deliver prevention and intervention services to domestic violence victims. Last year, they provided over 4,138 nights of secure shelter, exemplifying their commitment to community safety.??
