Ethiopia is Accountable for Hiding the truth

In one of my previous posts, I told you about a tourist who witnessed the incredible religious and cultural practices of Ethiopia's Epiphany celebration. I also promised to write an article about the importance of maximizing the potential of the cultural practices Ethiopia holds.?

?"Ethiopian Epiphany is a colorful festival celebrated all over Ethiopia to commemorate the baptism of Jesus Christ by John the Baptist in the River Jordan. The commemoration starts on the eve of the main festival on January 18. The eve is known as Ketera, which means blocking the flow of water for the blessing of the celebrants.?[1]?

Epiphany is inscribed as one of UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritages of humanity. It is one of the holidays celebrated outside, and it is everyone’s celebration. It is the norm for everyone to dress in white, handmade traditional cloth. It is being celebrated with a high level of happiness and respect for the Holy Tabernacle (replicas of Prophet Moses' Ark of the Covenant).

What is the tablet that a church priest carries on his head the whole day without eating or drinking for more than 18 hours? This tablet is mainly about God's commandments. The Ten Commandments were written in the Holy tabot as a covenant between man and God as well as a promissory note to those who would abide to live a meaningful life. In this sense, Ethiopia has sustained a glorified era of Moses’ time to date.

The respect for and use of the holy tabot is being kept according to the exact rituals of Mose’s time. It's such orthodoxy! I believe this puts Ethiopia on the Tower of Grace in the face of Almighty God. You can read the miraculous story of the Ark of the Covenant from Exodus to Kings in the Holy Bible.

The truth behind the Ark of the Covenant is the 10 Commandments. Six of the commandments are the critical principles given to human beings to live a righteous life: (5) Honor your father and mother; (6) Thou shalt?not kill—protect human life; (7) Thou shalt not commit?adultery; (8) Thou shalt?not steal; (9) Thou shall?not bear false witness;?and (10) You shall?not covet. Five of them are don't do's. If you do, you break the promise made with Adonai.?

If the world seriously lived by these six principles, there could be no fighting. If man adds the previous four divine principles (belief in God), the world could be a heavenly place to dwell.

The tabot has a set of precious divine rules for us to live in peace and harmony. The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido Church firmly adheres to these religious principles and teaches them to its followers. The church hymn that steals the hearts of everyone, including the tourists, during the whole Epiphany night is a blessing and a show of gratitude to God.

Ethiopia is a righteous nation on earth with enormous innocence, humility, and wisdom to win the living on this short-lived earth. She has never invaded the sovereignty of any nation. nor the privacy of any belief during its 7000-year history, which demonstrates that it strictly adheres to God's rules. A good example is a verse in the Holy Quran.

Ethiopia protects human life from killing. However, because of a mix of secular and spiritual beliefs since the 1970s, Ethiopians fall outside of God’s will and are seen as an example of a nation where citizens kill each other. Ethiopia has lost its unique trait of divine culture.

Where is the world now in terms of the six godly principles, especially Commandments #5 and #7? Adultery is a severe sin, according to the church’s teaching. One man for one wife, and if possible, no sexual relationship at all. However, today's sexuality teachings have extended far beyond the bounds of natural law. That’s all right, anyways :).

What may conservative western families feel about principles #5 and #7 today? Some may not feel comfortable. Strong families play a great role in a nation's development. No one can deny the marriage lives of the western rich and celebrities today. That is not a good sign for nurturing children and their future nation. While their parents have good wealth, these children may not have a happy life simply because their parents do not live together. Then, there is a likelihood that these children may not prefer to establish a family and bear children when they grow. Western adults of the future may not live the same lives as their grandparents used to live. It may not need any prophecies to be predicted.?

Ethiopia has a wonderful culture that many Western parents would wish to have raised their children in. Money alone may not be adequate to raise a child.

Again, Ethiopia is accountable for not promoting its good culture to raise children. Ethiopia's holy tabot is not for amusement. Saving the world is a serious undertaking. People may try to belittle or undermine the practice, but the time is not far off for the world to realize the precious cultural, traditional, and religious wealth Ethiopia possesses. It may not need any prophecy to predict that many rich and western parents may prefer to raise their children in Ethiopia, learning amazingly heartwarming church songs.?

It is a blessing to have such a decent and disciplined culture. The teaching the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahid Church offers is sound. Who does not want to live righteously and raise children with wisdom??

I think Ethiopia must sell this culture to those who are interested. Who does not want to live righteously and raise children with wisdom? I think no one. She must provide services for those who want to enjoy their lives in such a highly organized church system by balancing it with modern teaching. The rest of the world will be held responsible for failing to use the service Ethiopia provided. Isn't it so??
