Ethics of Professionalism

This is very important to understand Ethics of Professionalism because some people define both words in a contradictory way. Many believe this statement phrase as Ethics Vs Professionalism with a gesture of Positivity Vs Negativity respectively. But the combination of both these words actually completes & summaries the manner of living in a very balanced way.

Ethics belongs to the family of gestures, character, behavior and more specifically moral values while professionalism is the way of showing all above indicators in a disciplined way.

Although both terminologies are well defined in literature but practically people have their own way or style of showing ethics which swap the performance of professionalism.

This is a big issue when one's best performance of showing their generous character does not relate with professionalism as both are totally interlinked but when one's negative behavior accelerates, people relates it a single terminology "Professionalism".

If we talk on humanity & moral values of ethics, we see our Holy Prophet (PBUH) as one of the best example where He (PBUH) has shown the perfect art of ethics in a very professional way, where professionalism is taken as disciplined, defined and balanced manner.

This is very important to focus on our ethical values because it, actually, is the backbone of professional attitude which we perform in our lives. Good ethical values will create an environment of better professionalism, or in contrary, the bad ethical values will generate a wrong image of professionalism.

People who thinks that their tackling, dodging or non corporative steps are the part of professionalism, they are wrong. This is actually their ethical behaviors which depicts their professional way of performances.
