As someone working at an AI & robotics startup, I see firsthand the incredible capabilities of AI and the significant challenges it brings. The future is uncertain if we don't openly debate these challenges, boundaries, and responsibilities. This conversation is crucial for shaping how we navigate AI's ethical landscape, maximizing its benefits while minimizing potential harms.
AI is transforming industries and making our lives easier, but with great power comes great responsibility. We must address serious ethical concerns head-on, such as privacy violations, biases in decision-making algorithms, job losses, and the potential misuse of AI in harmful ways. As AI becomes a more significant part of our lives, we must ensure we're reaping the benefits while keeping the risks in check.

One of my inventions (took me 10 years to figure it all out) is a new form of question that doesn't elicit info from others, but actually leads them to the specific circuits where their values-based criteria are stored so they can make new decisions, change habits, etc. directly from the source. I want to use these Facilitative Questions in AI to enable Users to self-generate their own sequences of Facilitative Questions that will lead them to their own values-based criteria so they can resolve personal problems (generative AI can't do this). Sort of the opposite of content generation. Called FacilitationAI, it would offer an entirely new AI capability. Want to help me?
