As the New Year dawns, and Christmas cheer fills the air,

I feel your spirit, still with me, everywhere.

Though you're gone, your love remains,

A guiding light through joys and pains.

You were the heart of every season's glow,

In your warmth, all blessings would flow.

On Christmas Eve, you’d prepare the feast,

Serving love, from the greatest to the least.

In every twinkling light, I see your grace,

In every prayer, I feel your embrace.

You taught me kindness, wisdom, and care,

A legacy of love, beyond compare.

Through every holiday, every song we sang,

Your laughter echoed; your joy still rang.

You were my healer, my teacher, my friend,

A love so pure, that will never end.

Now, each year I honor you, my dear,

In every Christmas and New Year’s cheer.

Though the years pass, and the seasons change,

Your love remains, ever vast, never strange.

So, this New Year, and Christmas too,

I send my heart’s thanks, forever true.

For all you gave, for all you’ve done,

In my heart, you are forever one.
