Their Eternal Flame

Majestic horses 

Spirited and true

The joy in their being -winning through

Part of the heavenly realm 

Where they can run, dance and play

Raw beauty on full display 

Graceful and elegant 

Like sands shifting through time 

Prancing and cantering amongst the clouds

Company for the Angels high above

Full of wisdom, light and love 

In liberty 

Wild and adored

Too lovely to be ignored 

Pure white - like delicate snow

Mesmerising to watch as they all make their way

Shape shifting

Through the vapour and clouds 

Making the most of this beautiful day

Sunshine and smiles all the way

The calm before the storm

Where they then have to perform

Their role with falling rain

Galloping like thunder with a thousand hooves

Their shoes like lightning 

Causing flashes of light

Before the down pour - with all its might

Messengers direct from heavens gate

Divine power reigning down 

Their passion ignited and hearts desire

Fulfilling their purpose 

Elevating them higher

Amongst many hierarchical spirited Kings

Earning every step

Evolving with the weather

Too Perfect to forget

A choir of Angels sing euphorically 

Such lovely harmonies 

When the bells ring out and trumpets sound

The harpist strikes their chord

Jubilant symphonies 

And the horses claim their reward 

Earning their wings and time served on a higher plain

Nurturing with love & gratitude

Their eternal flame xx
