ETA’s double award win caps off memorable year

ETA recently celebrated a duo of outstanding successes, cementing its commitment to both internal growth and development, and outstanding service provision to customers!

First up was Investors in People - an accreditation that is renowned worldwide as a framework and benchmark that confirms a businesses operates with consideration and credibility. Securing the IIP Gold standard, an organisation has demonstrated a clear commitment to its people as well as the wider impact of the organisations activity. Investing in your people is not only the right thing to do, it’s proven to be essential in delivering sustainable results, in every aspect of business and especially in pressure situations. According to IIP, UK organisations that lead, support and develop their workforce effectively are 17% more productive and 21% more profitable. Less than 20% of IIP accredited organisations achieve the gold standard and to top that, even rarer!

The IIP 2023 Awards ceremony held at the Old Billingsgate marked a momentous milestone as eta celebrated the 10th anniversary of the event in grand style, attended by 860 individuals showcasing the pinnacle of excellence in organizational development and people management.

Eta secured a position within the top 10 UK IIP Gold SME organisations in the country for 2023!

Commenting on the award, Chairman, Michael Hunt said: “Eta were delighted to be assessed and confirmed as a Gold standard employer. Our continuing business success is entirely due to the brilliant team eta have here. For us, achieving Gold status reflects our ongoing commitment to nurturing a culture and working environment which brings out the best in each individual. Our shared values, behaviours and goals are displayed by all staff, visible to all our customers on a daily basis and key to our success. But to be recognised as a top 10 employer in the UK is an absolute credit to the entire staff teams, professionalism and commitment to providing the very best products and services in our sector. I am really proud of everyone who works for and with us and what the business has and will continue to achieve by following the IIP framework for success”

The Federation of Awarding Bodies is the collective voice of the UK’s world-class qualifications and assessments industry. Its members are committed to providing high-quality qualifications and assessments that recognise achievement, improve productivity, support social mobility and change lives.

To cap off the success, eta then secured the MULTI STANDARDS EPAO OF THE YEAR (SME) category.

At the prestigious awards back in November, Awarding organisations came together in Leicester to celebrate success across the industry.

The FAB Awards recognises the contributions made by awarding organisations and their employees over the past year to education and skills in the UK. Commenting on the awards, John McNamara, the Federation’s interim chief executive, said: “The FAB awards continue to thrive, with another record-breaking number of participants this year. Eta were pleased to introduce new award categories celebrating the success of apprentices, AO and employer relationships, AO and provider relationships, and commitment to social responsibility.
