Established, Accredited Washington, DC Microschool Adds Middle School Option for Fall 2021; Seeking Founding Middle School Class of 25 Students

Templeton Academy, established in 2015 as DC's first microschool, announced today that it is actively recruiting it's first middle school class (grades 5-8) for next fall. Applications went live today and a schedule of early, regular and third round submission dates can be found at www.templetonacademy.org. 

Having piloted our middle school program at DC's sister campus in Nashville in the 2019 2020 school year, and now refined it further this academic year, we couldn't be more excited about what this proven, project-based, experiential learning model can and will do for DC Metro area youth.

In light of the explosion of interest in microschools during the pandemic, we think it is important to remind everyone that while our middle school offering is new to DC, Templeton Academy is not. In fact, our accredited high school is in its sixth year of positioning DC Students to learn with purpose while using the city as their classroom in an average class size of 10. Our relatively affordable tuition and financial aid offering means that we are accessible to all and diverse-by-design.
